[ABT. KOREA] - Uijeongbu city "Dobong Mountain & Sauna"

Hi Guys,

Let me introduce kind of unique daily itinerary of Korea.

Hope you guys love to climb or hiking.

 

 

Most of Tourist would like to visit Bukhansan.

The mountatin is highest mountain in Korea(834m)(Seoul Metropolitan Area Limited). However I love to share another mounatin named Dobongsan.

How to reach there?

There is Subway station of "Dobongsan Station" that is with Line number 1 and 7. 

Also you can reach there by bus. (Whoever need help on getting there, please leave the comment :D)

 

Climb Course Recommendation

 

 

For the course of mountain roughly, please look up.

 

 

It starts from Entrance of Dobong san, next to Madang rock and reach to summit 725m. 

Total takes 3hours 30 mins.

 

Tips for Climbing

The Dobong Moutain includes many of rocks, so that hope you will be ready with nonslip hiking boots & sticks too!

Also if you have the hiking sack, bring vacuum flask of hot water! 

Reach summit, and take a lunch with Cup ramen with gimbap, feels top of the world 🤩🤩

There are famous three temples : Hoeryongsa Temple, Wonhyo Temple, Mangwolsa.

But follow my recommendation course, it is hard to reach there. 

So, If you plan to visit here, you need to find another way. But through another course, it is quite hard to reach summit. :(

 

After Climbing

 

Use the Line number 1 subway(blue line), get off at Mangwolsa Station.

1 stop, takes two minutes. Exit number 1 and takes around 6 minutes.

 

 

It is sauna nearest of Dobong Mountain.

So, hope you get there with new clothes after take shower, you do not wanted to wear that anymore 😉

 

 

Price : It is not included of clothes of sauna.(will be additional cost)

Adult - 8,000 won / Child - 7,000 won (day time)

Adult - 9,000 won / Child - 8,000 won (night time) 

 

The place is quite huge and nice :)

Summary : jjimjilbang (Korean dry sauna) for everyone and bath house separated by sex (female & male separated)

Also they sells some food, so you can try some foods there. 

But if you dont like it, one more recommendation of food.

I couldn't try this, but people says 'set B' is the most popular menu.

Set B Includes

• jajangmyeon, black-bean-sauce noodles 
• jjamppong, Chinese-style noodles with vegetables and seafood
• tangsuyuk, sweet and sour pork

When I get chance to visit here, let me give some more recommendation :)
